Unchained Bicycle Co-op successfully provides unique opportunities for our community to come together to share of love of bikes. We achieve this by accepting donations of used bicycles, by providing opportunities to spend time learning basic bike maintenance in exchange for earning a used, repaired bicycle, and by teaching bicycling skills to youth and adults. There are so many bikes out there languishing in garages and yards that can be easily repaired, and so many people who want to learn to fix those bikes, or who want to have the opportunity to earn a bike of their own, and Unchained is thrilled to be the facility that makes the connection possible to get those bikes back on the streets and along the bike paths.
But we could do even more with your help. We are looking for members of our community to become Sustaining Donors to Unchained. Your contributions will pay our operating expenses, such as rent and new parts for repairing bikes, as well as new helmets and bike locks to keep our bikes and our riders safe and secure.
